2000 f150 caught fire after being parked for approximately 2-hours. Vehicle completely destroyed and two vehicles parked next to my vehicle were damaged. I was never notified by ford motor company of any recall. I was told by an acquaintance of the cruise control switch recall that affected my truck after the fire occurred. I have made a claim for damages with ford motor company and am awaiting a resolution. *tr

Own 2000 f150 4x4, cruise control switch was replaced on recall a few years ago. Last year had to replace the cruise control switch again at my cost because it had already been replaced on recall. How cruise control is bad again and well have to replace again at my cost again. Fords fix isn't a good fix. *tr
