    Truck accelerated from 0 to 25 mph without warning. Had to put in neutral and turn off engine before the truck would stop. Even with the brake applied the truck would not stop. It was taken to the dealer and they could find no problem. *tr

    New ford f150 with 648.5 miles. Was told it has a head gasket leak. Was down july 9 & 10 and july 23 until ? Ford motor company had no part to fix it. Was told that we would get back on august 11, but still no truck. Was told that there are 8 others that have the same problem by ford motor company. Is there other reports on this? We are scared to death to get it back and drive it. It kept shooting oil or something…

    At 33k mile my 2007 f 150 with the 5.4 liter engine had engine failure. The engine failed as a result of a know problem that ford has with a back of the 5.4 liter engine having to much end play on the cam shaft. As a result the engine was starved for oil and failed in the middle of a trip. The oil pressure dropped to 0 when the engine was full of oil.
