I was driving around 50mph and experienced sudden downshifting, almost causing an accident. This vehicle was previously recalled for this exact problem, but all they did was update software rather than fixing the real issue: the molded lead frame. They are well aware of this issue and this part should be replaced on every affected vehicle before they experience this problem rather than after.
