This write up is for a 2012 ford f-150 truck with the 3.5l ecoboost v-6 installed. Jan, 2013-while driving on i-24e, i was pulling out from the rest stop, just north west of exit 1. Ecoboost engine has a terrible miss at idle and blows black smoke at start up. Fuel mileage is also bad due to rich fuel conditions. Ford has replaced many parts including injectors and plugs that were carboned up. Now ford refuses to do anything else until a new calibration program is released mid august 2013.
