S10 appropriate handling- letter to the secretary from re expressing concerns regarding brake line corrosion. *kb the consumer stated he replaced one inch of the brake line after he almost experienced complete brake failure. The other lines are still severely corroded and will fail soon. *jb

Tl* the contact owns a 2000 ford f-150. The contact stated that the brakes lines blewout when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact then noticed that all of the brakes lines on the vehicle were rusted. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and all of the brake lines were replaced up to the master cylinder. The failure and current mileages were 89,000.

Was going to ford dealer for gas tank strap recall due to straps that have poor corrosion protection.
