    I have a 01' svt lightning. I along with probably hundreds others on nloc.net all report problems with the stock goodyear f1's @ correct tire pressure. They all split the sidewall. I've had about 7 f1's split on my truck in with in the past year i've owned it. All of my splits were on the front. I can't speak for all the rest of the lightning owners on their tire locations.     On 05-31-04, i was driving my 2001 ford f150 4wd pickup on a trip to south florida. On the way i stopped to check my oil/gas and tires and observed 4 cracks on my front right tire. The cracks were approximatelly 1 inch from the rim and appeared approximatelly 1/8 deep. Upon further inspection i observed the drivers side tire was also deveolping addtional leeks.     Original tires on a ford, f150, 2000. Sidewalls are too close to ground, and consumer has punched 3 holes in tires because of this problem. Consumer feels truck is too heavy for the goodyear wrangler tires. P26570r17. *ak *slc
