I found the recall number from ford is 11s15 online. The dealership says that it does not apply to my 2010 ford f150. However, the same dealership is indicating that all four of the interior door handles are failing and need to be replaced. If one failed i might believe wear and tear, but all four would indicate a defect as described in the recall referenced above.

The vehicle will break on its own, without any warning. This has occurred several times over the past few years. It usually occurs when traveling at lower speeds. 40 mph and lower. I have not had any incidents on the freeway, just on the highway and mountain roads. No codes come up. The stability control light may come on but it goes away.

When applying sync update caused several failure codes to transmission module and transmission servo. Sync module no longer works after applying software update and must be replaced. All transmission and engine codes were cleared. I believe the sync module update caused failure codes and destroyed sync module. Ford dealership cannot explain
