At 102,000 miles the anti-lock brake system light came on. I took the vehicle to the ford dealer and he said the whole anti-lock system had corroded and would have to be replaced to the tune of $1000. This was just after ford had fixed ball joints and completely rusted emaergency brake cables under extended warranty at 99,900 miles.
